The SilkSpun material in this hammock has the comfort of cotton and the strength of polyester. It is the same material as that used in popular hammocks by Pawley’s Island and other manufacturers. This SilkSpun rope was created to simulate both the strength and the softness of silk. It is twisted from a fiber especially manufactured for the outdoor market. The body of the SilkSpun hammock features 50% more rows of rope and 50% more stitches per row than standard rope hammocks.
